Just when we were beginning to think that Taylor wouldn’t give us any sneak peeks into the Eras Tour, she slides in at the last moment with some rehearsal photos and heartwarming tidbits (the sparkle guitar!).

Author’s note: Cathartic to write about this now after a few days to process my thoughts. Although Yi-jin blames himself a lot in this, I don’t think anyone’s really at fault it just seemed in character that he would blame himself. This is probably my favourite part of Black Widow (though the whole film kicks ass and I highly recommend it) The music, the acting, the tone, everything about this opening credits scene is literally perfect, and it makes me want to watch the film all over again (which, being realistic, will probably happen since I have no self control and I always rewatch movies I love)
I’m probably in the minority but I kind of wish Marvel would do darker stuff like this more often - I like the lighter stuff and the humour, but this was exceptionally brilliant on a different level.
